Shura Ford
Shura is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and directs a successful wellness centre in Essendon. Shura studied Traditional Chinese medicine at Victoria University in Melbourne, completing a Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine - Acupuncture with honours. She also completed a certificate of advanced clinical practice in acupuncture at Shenyang hospital in China and advanced diploma in Traditional Chinese medicine at the Southern School of Natural Medicine. Shura has been in practice for over 8 years and has consulted in London as well as locally in Melbourne for a number of years. She is a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA) and a registered acupuncturist and herbalist with Chinese Medicine Registration Board of Victoria (CMRBV).
Shura specializes in the areas of stress management and fertility as well as musculoskeletal injury, injury management and body maintenance. She also successfully treats a variety of health concerns including, headaches, digestive imbalance, weight loss, immunity and sleeping issues.
Clare Pyers
Clare has studied Chinese Medicine in both Australia and China, completing a 4 year Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Victoria University, and a Certificate of Advanced Clinical Practice at Liaoning Chinese Medicine Hospital in Shenyang, China. Clare is the founder of Discover Chinese Medicine, a successful clinic in Richmond, VIC and has achieved fantastic results with her clients in areas of infertility, gynecology, skin and dermatology, digestion, stress, insomnia, headaches, musculoskeletal disorders and painful conditions.
Clare holds popular workshops covering various aspects of Chinese Medicine theory: food therapy, acupressure, and understanding yourself through Chinese Medicine 5 element theory.
Prior to studying Chinese Medicine, Clare studied Chemical Engineering. She chose to leave behind a world of manufacturing and chemical processes in favour of a career that would be helping to increase the health of our society and reduce the impact of the modern day lifestyle on our ability to stay well. Clare has now been working in the health industry for 7 years. She is a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA) and registered with the Chinese Medicine Registration Board of Victoria (CMRBV).
